NFL Game

Tony and I recently attended an Indianapolis Colts vs Steelers game. We had a good time and the new Lucas Oil Stadium was awesome! We walked around before kick off and there was so much to see! Even a live band playing- very cool!

My company has a Lower Level Suite that we sat in- we were very thankful for the opportunity!

This would be a quick snapshot of the pass we were given as Tony and I were asked if we would like to go down on the field-Heck yeah! We were taken fast through a basement type with lots of security and out onto the field..sidelines, almost in front of the cheerleaders- yeah Tony loved that!
Thank you to the Company I work for and thank you to my family for taking such good care of the girls and making it a worry less trip!!!
It was a beautiful day and a nice time with my husband!

HALLOWEEN 2009

Our Halloween Cuties....

Tinkerbell and Cookie Monster

I loved these pictures- there excitement for Gma and Papa to answer their door and see them!

We started early and made many visits before landing back home to Trick or Treat our street. One stop was Sharon's, their old sitter. Here is a group pic.. minus Tinkerbell...she was in the bathroom. I love Halloween! Abi has planned what she will be the next 4 years- of course its each princess.

More Halloween Pics.. We did carve pumpkins one night...The girls were'nt too crazy about the "goop" inside- but sure liked making happy pumpkins faces and lighting them up later.

At the kids daycare there was a Halloween parade... here's our cute Tinkerbell...

And our COOKIE MONSTER! Avri wasn't so sure about the parade. She basically walked into the gym and spotted my mom and I and came over to us.

One...... TWO!

10-19-09...Avri turns TWO!

THEN....

THEN....

NOW....

Two cuties, Two sweethearts and Two Drama Queens...
TWO SISTERS

The girls were posing for me before the party- They are such hamms.

Avri and Sharon...the girls miss her!

Avri trying out the Barbie Hot wheels- legs not quite long enough yet. But thats ok- pushing its cool too. :)

Tony holding the Dora pinata.

Avri spread out all her new puzzles- she is so into them right now!

The party was on Sunday, her actual Birthday was on Monday. Avri took rainbow cupcakes to share with her friends at daycare. Then we played some in the afternoon and then out for some chips and cheese dip at a local Mexican restaurnat and then home to decorate pumpkins. She had a great Birthday!
Here she is showing me where she wants the pieces to go on her pumpkin.

Abi sure is proud of hers- a princess pumpkin.

Avri talking...

I sat at the kid sized princess table tonight, clock read 8:03 pm...across from me was Avri in her jammies, with her milk sippy cup and her bowl of teddy grahams ( bedtime snack is a must in our house)....and as we sat across from each other...we held a conversation. How is this so? how did my baby girl grow up so fast that now she can hold a conversation with me? In 6 days she will be graduating from ONE to TWO. So many changes in her lately...she talks more than ever.....in sentences! She tells you just what she wants....she loves to make us laugh. She has the silliest faces and looks....and she so cracks Abi up! She has gone potty many, many times but I haven't pushed it to much yet.

At the princess table I did discover she may be a bit disappointed at her bdayparty... I said..

"Are you ready for your Dora birthday party?

"ELMO"

"No its a Dora party."

"no, ELMO!"

"Ummm...pumpkin...Dora parties are fun....."

"ELMO!"

I'm Back!

Two weekends ago the girls and I spent the afternoon at Scovill Zoo. We had a nice picnic, joined by bees, - bystanders were probably getting good laughs. Occasionally Abi or I would run around the blanket to get a bee to leave us alone. The day was beautiful and I know these nice weather days are starting to get further apart- so we took full advantage! I LOVE these moments!

Updates have been so few and far between. Many of you can relate to the hustle and bustle of life with two little ones. Things are getting back into a routine after a string of events. A change in daycare for the girls for one. They started a new daycare about 2 months ago. Our sitter took a maternity leave for the birth of her fist child. A beautiful baby boy, Kaydan.
Abi had been with the sitter since she was 10 weeks old and Avri since 8 weeks, so I was a bit worried. Abi has made so many new friends and loves it! It has really broken her from her "shy"ness she was going through. Avri is still adjusting to the "busy" ness of her new place...she's doing well too just ready for bed alot earlier!
We lost a family member, my gma, which was very hard. But comforting to know she was reunited with the love of her life. She leaves me with lifelong lasting memories that I will cherish forever.
The girls have had some bouts of sickness over the last 2 months...but we are on the upside ...with the exception of allergies.
We just recently got to spend some time with Lisa and Madison from Houston. Might be the last time we see them until the TWINS are born! Had a fun day going to the Museum and the Pumpkin Patch. Abi has said a few times since they've left she wants to move to Madison's house.

On September 13, Baby Chad( my cousin Chad and Ashley's little guy) turned the BIG ONE!! It was a great party and I don't think I have ever seen a happier baby!!! Cutie pie! Got a few snapshots.....

Avri enjoying some jello with Daddy at the party.

Tony and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary in September. We went to a Cubs game and messed around downtown Chicago for two days. This was the only snapshot I got before my camera went dead!
A circus was in town recently so my mom and I took the girls. Here's the girls sharing some cotton candy.
Abi and Avri recently had picture day. They both looked so pretty. Here's Abi cheesing for me....

Another Family weekend at Yogi Bear Campground

We spent a weekend at Yogi Bear Campground in Amboy, IL. in July. Fun was had by all.
Here is Abi, Haley & Avri enjoying the pools!

Getting ready for the hayride.

There is a Craft barn full of activities and a game room. Abi and Haley made tie-dye shirts again this year. Abi had outgrown the one she made last year.

Looks like grandma is doing all the work?
Finished PROJECT!! LOOKS GOOD!

Golf carts are always loaded- Everyone likes to zoom around the campground!

We ALL got a good laugh at watching Avri with her"flarp". This kept her busy for hours. Yes its a putty that makes farting noises and she thought it was hysterical. We sure got a kick out of her laughing over and over and over!
Avri sharing with Aunt Lorie her "FLARP" talent.....

Everyone chillin.... it was Christmas in July this particular weekend and we were waiting on the Christmas parade to start.
