Austin turned 15 last week. ( My sister's son) Its so hard for me to accept that too! I was there when these boys ( Austin and his brother) were born...and they grew up entirely too fast. ( which also means I'm getting older!!)

My sister, the wonderful mom she is, has been writing poems, goofy.. but yet meaningful poems, for the boys when they have a Birthday- here is Austin with his.

Austin is quite the "stud". He is involved in football, basketball, track and baseball for MTZ. And pretty darn good at it all too! Im pretty proud of him!

Papa gives airplane rides when we see him and the girls love it- I'm afraid they are both starting to get too heavy for him- AND Avri hates the airplanme to land- she always wants more, more, more!

Tony and I went out Friday for Valentines Day. Went to the Beachhouse for a really nice dinner with some friends and then out for a few drinks. Had a great time!

I love these pics of the girls coloring together.

Abi got roller skates for Valentines Day, so she immediately wanted to go down in the basement and practice.

Super Bowl Party

My mom and Dad had their annual Sunday Super Bowl Party. Its always a guaranteed good time and good food! My Dad started years ago a pool with random questions about the game- and you give $5 to get in on the questions. Its so fun and adds excitement to the game to see who wins what- I have been the Big Winner 2 different years! ( its pure luck- its definitely not my knowledge in the teams playing!)
Below are some goofy pics of the festivities- and the nerdy 3D glasses.

Avri had her appt. Friday with an Orthopedic Dr. We were referred their by our pediatrician due to her feet and legs. And we got great news- She is NORMAL and will outgrow it. Thank goodness- I had heard different things about braces, etc. but the Dr said she should outgrow it by 4 yrs of age. Here's the little ham!

Abi's rewarded

Two weekends ago, one of Abi's many cousins came to play. My brother dropped off Kyle for the day...we don't get to see Kyle as much as we would like - they live in Chicago. Kyle and Abi are such good buddies...

Kyle didn't want to get paint on his shirt- so he asked if he could take his shirt off. Of course then Abi followed-....

A few months ago- I searched for a motivation type reward system that would work on Abi. I found this Magnetic Responsibility Chart on-line and I love it! It has been great! It comes with MANY different chores and you chose the ones you want to work on and then Smiley faces when you complete the chore. Even though it took us a little over two months to fill the chart - it was a HUGE help. We let her choose how to be rewarded and she chose Chuckee Cheese and wanted to take Kyle.

So Kyle and Haley met us there.

Avri smiling because she has just eaten 2, yes TWO full pieces of pizza- with Gma ( my mom)

And Tony with... yes- those are the tickets you get from the games. He was determined to win Abi a good prize.... ( who do we go to Chuckee Cheese for? the kids or Daddy?) anyways he did it - he managed to get 2000 tickets so she could walk away with a Barbie wedding set.

Abi cleared her board and is now working on different chores and has informed us she wants to go to a movie this time....
